IFSEC Securex 2009, 30 June to 2 July at Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa

Vertex Standard was recently represented by Verstay at the largest pan-African security event held late in June 2009 in Johannesburg and attended by more than 5,500 security professionals from 48 countries. The shared stand was frequented by a number of existing sub dealers as well as new dealers eager to be part of the Vertex Standard growth in the region. The interest shown by security firms as well as municipal and government organisations was overwhelming. Quality products proudly displayed “Right Team Right Time”.

Airsys dealer showcase, 17 September at Wadenhoe House, Peterborough, UK

Airsys Communications Technology is the UK’s leading independent distributor of wireless radio communications products, distributing a wide range of two-way radios and accessories through a huge network of dealers. Airsys’s dealers were treated to presentations and demonstrations from Richard Russell and Paul de Carte of Vertex Standard – they showed the advantages of the entire portfolio, including a sneak preview of the new VX-231.

Getting to Know Vertex Standard Dealer Workshops, 29 September at Reading Moat House, Reading, UK
7 October at The Stanneylands Hotel, Cheshire, UK

These workshops were attended by 40 dealers, and covered the commercial and product benefits of selling Vertex Standard land mobile radios and accessories. Features and benefits for each radio, available sales tools and programming were covered and in parallel, attendees had the chance to try out the radios in the demo area.

Finland

FinnSec 09, 7 to 9 October at Helsinki Exhibition & Convention Centre, Finland

Long-time distributor Wintel represented Vertex Standard at the FinnSec 09 exhibition in Helsinki. FinnSec is regarded as the most important safety and security fair of the year in the Nordic countries. Approximately 25,000 trade-only attendees visited the show, targeted at professionals responsible for the security, occupational safety and fire protection of companies, organisations and institutions.
