Hello and welcome to the inaugural edition of V-Zine:,
a quarterly publication bringing you all the latest news from Vertex Standard Land Mobile Radio in EMEA. Although the name may be new to some, Vertex Standard is over fifty years old and has grown into one of the largest suppliers of two-way radio equipment globally. You can read how the company was formed and how it has developed in the company profile.

In EMEA there is a dedicated team available to assist you in the sales and support of your Vertex Standard LMR business. This team has recently expanded with an additional new member. Meet the Vertex Standard team to learn more.

One of the ways this growth has been achieved is through developing new products based on user requirements. We already have an extensive portfolio of portables, mobiles and repeaters, but recently, our customers asked us for a compact, feature-rich radio at a compelling price-point. We’ve risen to the challenge by launching the VX-231 – check out the details in the product profile.

Also key to our growth is you: our Channel Partner! Each edition, we will spotlight a different Partner and discuss how Vertex Standard has helped them to grow their business. This time, we’re talking to New Edge Solutions in Kenya. It’s always interesting to hear others' experiences of the benefits of using Vertex Standard radios – this edition's case study details the extreme conditions that a mobile radio was subjected to (and survived!) in a US fire chief’s car. Finally, you can read about events that we’ve taken part in, or are planning to attend, around the region.
